Vice Chair and Upton representative - Sue Fitzjohn
Sue has been headteacher of both Voluntary Aided and Voluntary Controlled Schools in Worcestershire. Her curriculum passions are RE and Environmental Education and Sustainable Development.
For twelve years she was an executive member of the Professional Council for RE (PCfRE) and the chair for three years. During that time Sue was fortunate to represent the council on several other national religious education organizations.
Sue currently serves on the Worcestershire SACRE as a Church of England representative. She is vice chair of the Diocesan Board of Education, Department for Children, Youth and Education and a member of the Education Committee.
She has been privileged to be a church school inspector (SIAS) in the Diocese of Worcester for a number of years.
As a Eucharistic assistant and worship leader Sue is an active member of her local parish church and is a PCC and Deanery Synod member. Sue leads an Open the Book team in her parish, is a national trainer for Open the Book and has recently become an Open the Book trustee .
Her many interests are centered on her husband, home and family. She is very proud of her son and married daughter and has three delightful granddaughters.
